Python programs as solutions to Book of Programming Challenges (pdf) posted by Stuart Lucas which I have enclosed

My intention is to provide a pythonic style (in as much as I am able to:)…) which I believe learners should use right at the beginning of their python journey Learners should be directed to use built in methods, python “batteries” like itertools and even modules from PyPI (The Python Package Index)

What is included:

  • Solutions to challenges 3, 9, 11, 12, 15, 26, 27
  • Extentions (explained in the docstring of the programs (at the top)) to challenges 12 and 15
  • Further Detailed Explanation (pdf) of the challenges, in particular I have suggested an activity for challenge 26 which I think will help learners inform the design of their algorithm prior to coding it.
hope this will be helpful
