The national curriculum poses a challenge for computer science teachers at KS3

understand how instructions are stored and executed within a computer system

Having introduced the Little Man Computer at GCSE level I know that it is a difficult topic for students. With that in mind I have produced a much simplified model of LMC called the Little Robot Computer using I have tested this with KS3-KS5 students and results are promising.

This resource include a working version of the Little Man Computer with a similar look to the Little Robot Computer. This can also be used a s a teaching resource.
