The national curriculum poses a challenge for computer science teachers at KS3
understand how instructions are stored and executed within a computer system
Having introduced the Little Man Computer at GCSE level I know that it is a difficult topic for students. With that in mind I have produced a much simplified model of LMC called the Little Robot Computer using vb.net. I have tested this with KS3-KS5 students and results are promising.
This resource include a working version of the Little Man Computer with a similar look to the Little Robot Computer. This can also be used a s a teaching resource.
