A poster I’ve designed and use within my Computing lessons to discourage learnt helplessness within Computing. Based on the 5B’s principle of ‘Brain, Book, Browse, Buddies, Boss’ and based on a number of other one’s I’ve seen online. Works really well in my Computing lessons as an aid to encourage greater student independence within lessons. The idea is that when pupils are stuck they work there way through each of the strategies listed on the sheet.
