This is a workbook intended to be given straight to A2 students, but equally it could be used by teachers wishing to learn a new language.

It assumes knowledge of HTML/CSS and a year’s worth of procedural programming in another language.

The workbook contains instructions on how to get your server installed and running, how to write PHP, create a database and get data in and out of the database.

There are a variety of exercises for students and two mini projects with full instructions - a Love Calculator and a Shoutbox

Level: A2 Computing project

Teaches: PHP and MySQL basics
