Marble Racer Hack is an activity that I first devised for use at our Hack To The Future events that we hold to inspire and engage the digital ceators of tomorrow, now part of our Jam Packed project.

You can download a plan for Marble Racer Hack:

You can watch part of an online Teach Computing webinar in which I explain the development of a racing car game in Scratch:

Another Racing Car Scratch video that I created:

Level: (Beginner / Intermediate)

Duration: (30 mintes to 1 hour)

Teaches: (programming concepts)

Jam Packed is a grant funded project supported by the UK Department for Education, the Raspberry Pi Foundation and RM Education Limited to support the development of the teaching of Computing and provide inspiring & engaging experiences for learners of all ages. Jam Packed achieves this through a roadshow of computing community events, online webinars for teachers and sharing of teaching resources through this site. The computing community events are targeted at areas with high levels of social disadvantage.
