Here’s how I’ve found it works . . .

Give each pair of children a sheet.

Ask them to write the box number on.

Ask them to methodically count back the pieces, circling any missing pieces and noting how many of a given part are missing.

Now with:

Link to essential but not very user friendly Pick a Brick tool to replace missing Lego WeDo parts.

Best used in conjunction with this excellent Brick Owl inventory.
