At my recent HUB meeting I explained that I had created a set of lessons for my fellow primary teachers to use in my Academy to teach the Networks, World Wide Web and simple intro to algorithms. As usual I used as much good existing stuff as possible from folk like Code-It (Phil Bagge) and Graham Hastings.

These were given to all KS2 to ensure that all kids got some coverage in the first year. I did explain that different year groups would obviously have to vary pace and depth.

All smart notebooks and links to supporting video are included there is just a bit of laminating and hat making to be done for the wonderful practical way of modelling search engines.

Enjoy - hope it saves you some work and gets you started. pete
