I made these images for a primary CAS hub in York - hope they’re useful.
Any feedback on how to improve the wording would be welcome or suggestions for other words.
You can preview the images here: https://github.com/pddring/computing-keywords/wiki
If you want to add or edit the images, I’ve put the source files (created in Fireworks CS5) here: https://github.com/pddring/computing-keywords
I’ve made a Kahoot quiz based on these posters for classes that have laptops / iPads to vote on the right keyword that matches the definition here: https://play.kahoot.it/#/k/7c8d0ec7-4edb-4197-b331-9ea3fde68f52
I’ve made a Raspberry Pi Minecraft hacking team quiz based on these keywords here: https://github.com/pddring/minecraft-quiz
I’m in awe of how primary teachers are thriving / surviving in the national lockdown. Well done and thank you. Some of you have got in touch to ask about remote learning activities. I’ve put a load of free keyword / definition games that work on (almost) any device without needing any login / signup here: https://blog.withcode.uk/2021/01/free-primary-computing-remote-learning-resources/
