CAS Pickering Mixed - no longer running
Welcome to the CAS Pickering Mixed Community.
The official reasons for having a hub are here. For me, it’s a chance to share problems and possible solutions and to have a better idea of what is happening at Primary and Secondary phases for our students. Community meetings are planned around these needs.

CAS York Secondary
The CAS York Secondary Community is a collaboration between the National STEM Centre and the Department of Computer Science, University of York, with the help of Dan Tait from All Saints RC School and of Pete Dring from Fulford School.
The aim of our meetings is to provide the opportunity for local teachers to:
share ideas and resources about how to inspire young people into computer science;
develop a local CAS Community group to support computer science in education;
provide informal training and knowledge about computer science as a discipline;
support connections between teachers, local universities and industry.
If you would like to come along to share something, ask lots of questions, or just listen and have some refreshments, you are more than welcome! Also, if you have any specific ideas for future Community meetings, please get in touch.
