CAS Blackpool Mixed
CAS Blackpool Mixed is a CAS Community intended for both Primary and Secondary teachers from across the area and beyond.
The aim of our meetings is to provide the opportunity for local teachers to share ideas and resources, ways to inspire children to take on developing interests in computer science and to nurture a local CAS Community group.
We aim to provide informal training and knowledge about computer science as a discipline and support connections between teachers, local computing hubs and industry.
If you would like to come along to share something, ask lots of questions, or just listen and have some refreshments- you are more than welcome! If you have any specific ideas for future community meetings, please also get in touch.

The CAS Bolton Primary Community is run by Christopher Hill, Deputy Headteacher at Bolton St Catherine’s Academy.

CAS Liverpool Primary
This community is for Primary school in Liverpool, Halton and Knowsley. We will be running CAS events at two locations - one in “Central” Liverpool and one in “South” Liverpool. Each meeting will cover the same agenda so sign up for the location that suits you best.
Sessions are lead by curriculum specialists and are open to anyone with an interest in Computing.
This community is linked to our work with NCCE and will assist anyone who has previously completed CPD in gaining the certification.

CAS Liverpool South Secondary
CAS Liverpool South Secondary is a CAS Community of KS3/KS4/KS5 Computing/Computer Science teachers. We are always looking for fellow professionals to join.

The CAS Manchester South Primary Community runs a meeting each half term, alternating between its two venues of Acacias Community Primary School in Burnage and Our Lady’s RC Primary School in Whalley Range.

CAS Oldham Hub
A newly incorporated Hub based out of the Blue Coat School in Oldham. The hub leader is Andrew Mkandawire, a newly qualified teacher and subject specialist holding a BSc in Computer Forensics and Security.
The CS department consist of two other highly experienced teachers also both subject specialists.
We are looking to offer our support through meetings, demonstrations and workshops to secondary schools in our local area.

The CAS Tameside Community is based at Tameside College and has a new leader in Dan Evans. The group would like to work with all CAS members within the wider Tameside area, regardless of their teaching level.
We are keen to help all teachers of Computing to develop their skills and technical abilities. We will offer a range of supportive sessions linked to delivering the curriculum. We will also work to ensure seamless learner progression from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4 and on to appropriate post-16 pathways.
