Virtual Showcase - Physical Computing Special - Making the most out of the Crumble and the Micro:bit
Computing at School
Monday Jun 28, 2021 from 5:00PM to 5:45PM
In this session, Jo Hodge (a Year 6 teacher and CAS Community Leader) and Ben Davies (a Key Stage 2 teacher and CAS Community Leader) will introduce how the Crumble (an easy-to-use programmable controller) and the Micro:bit (a pocket-sized computer) can be used to introduce pupils to and engage pupils with physical computing. They will share some exciting ways on how they have used both Crumbles and Micro:bits in the primary classroom to support the learning of key computer science concepts and computational thinking.
