STEM in the Primary Curriculum - Learn how to develop STEM across your primary curriculum. This is a great opportunity to meet Helen Heggie from STEMFirst and look at creative opportunities available to your school. Helen will be identifying STEM resources for the classroom, including why STEM is important, some great classroom resources including the Bitz and Bob videos and Engineering Fairytales, and will talk about Lego activity, code clubs, STEM ambassadors and a growing set of ‘This is me’ overviews of people in STEM careers. There are also some exciting STEM initiatives on the horizon specifically in Cumbria – join us to find out more and sign up for some FREE STEM activities!
