Getting the most out of Scratch - CAS Lambeth Primary Community Meeting
Tuesday Jul 7, 2020 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM
Scratch is London CLC’s go-to tool for teaching computing in a way that is flexible, encourages creativity and provides the complexity to challenge pupils and teachers alike. This session will explore the ways that pedagogical approaches developed by the likes of KCL and UCL can get the most out of Scratch activities, with a particular focus on how children can learn to approach programming projects in a way that will get them thinking and working like future software developers. This session will also be informed by our involvement in the UCL Knowledge Lab’s ScratchMaths research project.
