This is the 2nd of two workshop on teaching A level computing. This workshop will be delivered by Jeanette Patterson, an experienced A level teacher formerly of King's Priory School Tynemouth. The 1st workshop, on 10 July, is delivered by Nick Cook, Newcastle University School of Computing. Together we will cover topics such as A level algorithms and data structures, logic and Boolean algebra, number representation and computer arithmetic, and regular expressions. We will announce nearer the time exactly which topics are covered in which workshop. The workshop will start with a sandwich lunch at 12:45.
