Keynote Session by Shahneila Saaed,Head of Education, Programme Director for Digital Schoolhouse, London at Ukie - The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment:Hack the Playground with Computational Thinking
One of our biggest battles at the moment is to engage and inspire enough students with studying computing to eventually help close the industry’s digital skills gap. Passing on subject knowledge isn’t enough, we need to dispel stereotypes and create exciting experiences which have a lasting impact. This talk will consider how we can use guided exploration and play based learning to develop students’ creative computational thinking skills and help prepare them for a digital future.

Following the keynote attendees will select workshops from an array of workshops specifically tailored for use in the classroom.
