It's a social event for a group of teachers and non-teachers with a common interest in STEM, Computer Science and Computing education (5-18 years) at a public event. By joining our monthly meetup, you will be able to indulge your interests and passion and hopefully gain some inspiration, ideas and resources for activities to use with your classes or community.
This month's theme: Medical Marvels
Important: This is an 18+ only event and is independently organised by CAS Master Teacher and Hub Leader Alan O'Donohoe and friends. Our monthly meetup is neither organised by, nor endorsed by the Science Museum, London.
#SMLates: On the last Wednesday of every month (except December), the Science Museum closes at 6pm and then re-opens again from 6.45pm until 10:00pm for "Lates", an evening packed full of talks, demonstrations and hands-on activities. If you arrive before doors open at 6.45pm, you'll need to join the lengthy queue outside on Exhibition Road.
Computing At School: (CAS) is a free-to-join education community with many volunteer members that provides support, leadership and strategic guidance to all those involved in Computing education in schools. [More here]
Cancellations: It's not a problem if you register to attend, but then later are unable to attend. If you don't cancel your registration, you'll be invited to future events.
For further information please 'Contact The Host' above. Please note that photos may be taken at the event for publicity purposes and you may be contacted about other relevant events. The agenda may change from that advertised to reflect changes in circumstances.
This event is organised and supported by Alan O'Donohoe of Exa Foundation, http://exa.foundation.
