The Barefoot Programme is part of BT’s commitment to help build a culture of tech literacy, supporting primary school teachers with the confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding to teach computer science. The resources are aligned to the national curriculum and are designed to help teachers gain confidence in bringing computer science to life in the classroom. The objectives of the workshop are: - To know what computational thinking is and why teaching this will be as important as teaching English and Maths - To know that computer science concepts can be taught across the curriculum - To understand the link between computational thinking and programming - To feel more confident about teaching computer science and empowered to continue your personal CPD journey.
