The workshop is dedicated to deepening programming knowledge and good practice among participants. With a flexible approach to the user's needs, the course can offer two handful days of programming, problem-solving and finding solutions to the challenges met in the computer science classrooms. Participants will gather the knowledge about programming concepts but also how to deliver this knowledge to their pupils. The workshop takes teachers on a programming adventure where the outcome will be driven by the users through their practical work with Python programming language. The course will cover: - Python scripts execution and packing the code into stand-alone applications. - Code reusing through writing functions and methods. - Object-oriented programming and application of Python class and object concept. It is assumed that the user already knows: - Python data structures such as a difference between list, tuple and dictionary. - Basic programming concepts such as loops and if-statements. - How to write simple scripts with users input. In addition to Python programming, the course will cover: - git version control. - doctest and unit test
