About this workshop:

Having the correct Skills & Competencies within IT & Digital is critical to the success of all organisations in our digital world.   But, achieving this doesn't happen by chance.  This workshop will look at the key challanges and options that people use to address and manage their IT Competency and Capability challanges.

We will seek to understand the specific challenges for the IT Skills, Competency, and Capability landscape. How can these challenges be addressed, and who are the people who do this?  From this we will create a view of both the organisational challlenges, and also what skills & capabilities these people might require themselves to be effective and how they manage their own career paths.

The workshop will be designed to give participants both opportunities for discussion and engage in interactive exercises to elicit the views of the group. This will be a great opportunity to network, share experiences & learn from others, and provide valuable views that will help formulate how BCS can better support IT Competency and Capability development.

Who should attend?

Anyone who is working as a practiotioner within IT Skills, Competency, and/or Capability, and/or has an interest in how this field can be improved to increase it's value to organisations.
