Aims: This event is to provide teachers with a proven method and resources for teaching programming, algorithms and Computational Thinking for GCSE Computer Science in their schools based on Pair Programming pedagogy as well as some strategies for ensuring examination success. Suitable also for teachers of Key Stage 3 Computing, it will provide teachers with some tried & tested strategies to ensure successful outcomes for their students when tackling programming assignments and NEAs for GCSE. Attendees will be provided with some free resources that teachers can use straight away with their own classes.
