The aim of this meeting is to support the development of Computing in school. This event is most suitable for secondary Computing teachers.

16:00 Arrival & Registration

16.15 Meeting and discussion: Strategies to teach Programming, Algorithms and Computational Thinking.

16:30 GCSE Computer Science lesson: Algorithm Design, Flowcharts and Pseudocode.

Modelling a lesson to support students with Paper 2 (Programming, Algorithms and CT) and Programming Projects (NEA). Starting with a brief discussion of the impacts and effects of the Ofqual NEA decision, we will move on to modelling strategies that you may use within examination board guidelines to support all learners.
