CAS Tenderfoot - CPD for key stage 3 teachers of Computing

The session will focus on: the rationale and pedagogy of computer programming; the relevance and promotion of computational thinking skills; and the teaching of algorithm and graphs in the classroom. The Tenderfoot project also promotes an understanding of the professional values of research and its implications for continuing professional practice. Participants attending these sessions will ‘take away’ resources promoting teaching with algorithms, computational thinking and programming. There is no charge for the event but parking is in a public car park: Burnett Street, BD1 4AU
