A step by step guide for a micro:bit activity using the built-in light sensor. If you are looking for an easy-to-follow starter micro:bit activity, we hope this will help. It will work brilliantly as a class activity to bring computing into British Science Week (9th-16th March).

We’re running lots of free micro:bit coding workshops around the country during British Science Week and want to spread the coding word to those schools we can’t get to by making our ‘Light up your World’ lesson plan free to all on CAS.

You can find out more here: [https://computerxplorers.co.uk/what-we-do/programming-for-primaries-activity-computerxplorers-free-coding-and-programming-workshop].
