A notebook/section of 6 interactive OneNote pages covering the basics of “What is Computer”. Designed for use with Year 7 but would suit a range of learners from KS2 upwards.

Based on the theory parts of “Starting from Scratch” materials by Jeremy Scott for RSoE.

Includes sections for students to complete either independently or in collaboration, as well as some video links and kahoot quizzes.

For users of Microsoft Office 365, I have also create a 20 question self-marking test/quiz/assessment based on this content. It can be duplicated in your own account from this link:

Level: (Beginner)

Duration: (6 lessons)

Teaches: (Types of computer, IPSO model, Desktop PC components, input and output devices, storage devices, software)
