This consists of 2 LiveCode stacks (you will need LiveCode 8.1.4 to work with them):
A template stack for pupils to start work with.
A finished stack for teachers to “cheat” with.
This is conceived of as the basis of a class teaching the use of randomly generated numbers, the use of scaleable vector graphic widgets inwith LiveCode and object rotation.
To best illustrate the advantages of the new vector graphic widgets one should import a regular image such as a JPEG, PNG or GIF and rotate that using both ‘ROTATE’ and ‘SET THE ANGLE’ as a point of comparison.
As a bonus I have included my own SVG image importer stack (this will ONLY work with SVG images generated using Inkscape [ https://inkscape.org/en/ ]; if you need to import SVG images sourced from other applications they will have to be imported into Inkscape and exported in the Inkscape-specific SVG format).
My kids were getting themselves in a “bit of a twizzle” understanding the point about image distortion, so I ran up a LiveCode stack to illustrate the point, and I’m attaching it here.
