About this toolkit
This toolkit is designed to support school leadership teams in developing computing in their schools in ways that are consistent the school’s desire to provide a broad and balanced curriculum to all its students that is in line with the school’s mission and ethos. It has been produced by Computing At School (CAS) and BCS with support from a Microsoft YouthSpark grant.
The toolkit consists of a set of specific worksheets aimed at helping the school leadership develop and implement the school’s computing curriculum. It addresses seven key priorities: Leadership and management; The curriculum vision; Curriculum planning; Teaching, learning and assessment; Staff development; Infrastructure and resources; Monitoring and evaluation.
