Video about the Call Stack, its function & how it works with variables.
Here’s a video I made about the call stack, which relates to GCSE / A level concepts of variable scope and functions. The video uses Python to demonstrate how it works, but the concepts are universal. It also features a look at a typical IDE (PyCharm)
Level: Intermediate/ Advanced
Duration: 10 minutes
Teaches: How the call stack operates. What are local variables? How are variables limited in scope. What is recursion? How does the stack perform in a recursive loop? What is a Stack Overflow?
