Introduction to Python Programming – Part 2

This is second phase of the CPD session and it will teach the key concept of programming introducing teacher to Python programming languages. The Part 1 looked at teaching key concept of programming using Python such as Input, Output, Variable, and Data types. Part 3 will focus on IF function, Loops and Lists in Python. This CPD session is aimed at both primary and secondary teachers at various levels of ability and confidence in programming, from beginners to those with some experience. The focus will be on how to teach programming using in Python in both primary and secondary school. There workshops will cover. 1. Hands on activities using Python you can take straight to the classroom 2. How to tackle Programming Project Control Assessment o How to analyse, plan and code controlled assessment type question assessment in GCSE computing o What level of programming do teachers need to get to complete controlled assessment in GCSE Computing?
