Bloodhound Rocket Car Challenge Training Day


Monday Jan 16, 2017 from 9:30AM to 3:30PM at Ringwood School


Hosted by CAS South East (University of Southampton)

This training day is aimed at CAS Master Teachers and CAS Hub Leaders and anyone who would be interested in hosting a Bloodhound Rocket Challege at their school.

The morning consists of designing, building and racing a car and in the afternoon, we will work in groups to create and build code to run the timing gates.

PROGRAMME

09:30 Registration and Refreshments
10:00am Rocket car build, design and race. Data generation and basic overview of how this can be used.
12:30pm Break/lunch
1:00pm Working in groups to building and create the code for the timing gate
2.40pm Intro Bitty Data logger – show live data, redeem MEC codes
