Pedagogical approaches to Computing

June 27, 2017 at 9:30AM

Our Lady's RC Primary School Manchester

This full day event will look at ways in which primary teachers can develop their Computing subject knowledge and confidence, whilst making use of existing, sound pedagogical practice in order to deliver more effective Computing lessons.

SPEAKER

Jamie Edmondson

I am the Computing Leader and specialist Computing Teacher at Our Lady's RC Primary school in Manchester, where I teach Computing from Nursery through to Year 6. I also work as a Computing teacher/curriculum advisor at Holy Name RC Primary school in Manchester. I have been a Teacher for over 14 years and have previously held the position of ICT Subject Leader as well as Study Support Lead Teacher for Oldham local authority. A CAS Master Teacher, I also work independently with other schools, sharing the wealth of knowledge and experience I've gained in order to help schools improve their Computing provision and use of technology throughout school.

All materials and resources used on this course will be made available to all delegates after the course.
